At Country Groundworks, we specialise in many different aspects of home and garden improvements, with many jobs encompassing a lot of our areas of our expertise. Recently, our team completed a front and back garden transformation in Warrington, which involved paving, fencing and much more. This delivered a complete transformation for our client.
Project Overview
The customer contacted us looking for a garden transformation to modernise both the front and rear of their property. The property had pathways which allowed access to the garden but these were old and let down the look of the property. Cleaner boundaries needed to be set out in the garden and a shed needed to be relocated to open up the layout.
With our experience in groundworks, fencing, and landscaping, we designed and delivered a solution tailored to their needs.
Work Carried Out
Our team travelled to Warrington to speak with the owner and get an understanding of their requirements. At Country Groundworks, we believe it’s important to understand the needs of the customer and advise them on how we can help. Once we had agreed and given a quote that the client was happy with, work could start on the improvement works.
New Fencing Installation
We installed new fencing around the property, replacing the old and failing one that was already there. Most of this work was mainly carried out in the back garden in this Warring ton Property. This would help to create clear boundaries and improve privacy and security. Concrete posts and rot boards were already present so we just had to replace the wooden boards. We often recommend concrete posts to our clients as they help your fence last as long as possible as there are no wooden posts to deteriorate over time. These concrete enforced wooden fences are also much more durable to can withstand storms and are less vulnerable to damage. High-quality fencing not only enhances the appearance of a garden but also provides increased security and privacy.
New Gates Fitted
To complement the fencing, we supplied and fitted new gates at this property in Warrington, improving access while keeping the property secure. The gates were chosen to match the fencing style and overall look of the garden.
Back Garden Makeover
We relocated the existing shed next to the greenhouse in this garden in Warrington which opened up the space massively. The foundations were then removed and turf was laid down to match the existing grass which expanded the usable lawn space massively. Old pathways next to the house were dug up and replaced modern paving which really lifted the appeal of the property. This also improved accessibility and safety and the old paths were mossy and could easily be slipped on.
Old driveway dug up
As part of our work to improve the garden, the old driveway was dug up along with some of the front garden. This vastly improved the accessibility and parking on the property. A small digger made light work of this and the rubble was then loaded into a lorry.
New Block Paving
Once we had the old surface excavated and rubble removed, we could put down a hardcore base. This was achieved by laying stones and compacting them to create a solid foundation for the new paving. This step is essential in block paving installations to ensure durability and long-term stability.
Once the surface was ready, the block paving which the client picked went down. This massively improved the appeal of the property by modernising it and it made it look much bigger.
Conclusion
The finished result of this improvement work at this property in Warrington means that the front and back gardens now offer:
- A smarter, more modern appearance
Improved security with new fencing and gates
- Better use of space with sheds repositioned
Increased kerb appeal and functionality
The customer extremely pleased with the transformation, and the property now benefits from a great new layout, low-maintenance outdoor space that’s built to last.
