The combination of new timber fencing and the feature gate has helped improve the appearance of the outdoor space while also providing a practical new entrance.
If you’re looking for fencing installers in Runcorn or considering a new garden fence and gate for your property, this recent Country Groundworks project shows how a relatively straightforward outdoor improvement can make a noticeable difference.
Project Overview
The focus of this project was to create a new boundary that would improve both the appearance and practicality of the property. The Property had a fence that didnt connect all the way around, leaving an open gap to the front door.
A new fence was chosen to provide a clean and consistent finish along the garden, while an arched gate was incorporated to create an attractive entrance. Rather than simply being a functional addition, the shape of the gate adds character to the finished installation and helps make the entrance stand out. By installing the fencing and gate together, we were also able to ensure that both elements complemented one another and created a coordinated finish across the property in Runcorn.
Removing the Old Fence
Before installing the new fencing, our team prepared the area to ensure the fence line was ready for the new installation. We firstly removed the old fence and cleared the space ready for the new fence to be installed. Getting this stage right is important, as careful preparation helps create a neat, secure and properly aligned finished fence. The positioning of the fencing and gate also needed to be considered so that the finished installation would work practically within the existing outdoor space.
Once the area had been prepared and the fence line established, our team could begin installing the new fencing and transforming the boundary of the property.
Installing the New Fence and Concrete Posts
With the preparation complete, the new fencing was installed along the required section of the property. The fresh timber immediately gave the garden a cleaner and more finished appearance, creating a clear boundary while complementing the surrounding outdoor space.
The new garden fence has improved security and privacy, the concrete posts will ensure longevity with minimal upkeep required for the homeowner. The outdoor space of the house now looks much more appealing and modern. For homeowners searching for new fencing in Runcorn, Liverpool, replacing older or damaged fencing can be an effective way to refresh a garden without having to completely redesign the entire outdoor space.
Finishing Off with an Arched Gate
One of the standout features of this Runcorn fencing project is the new arched gate. Installed alongside the fencing, the gate provides a practical access point while adding a more decorative feature to the finished boundary. The curved top gives the gate a distinctive appearance compared with a standard straight-edged design and helps create a welcoming entrance into the garden. By matching the gate with the surrounding fencing, the entire installation feels consistent and well planned.
With the new fence and arched gate in place, the property now has a much smarter and more defined boundary. It is another example of how new fencing can make a significant visual difference to an outdoor space while also providing practical benefits for the homeowner. At Country Groundworks, we provide professional fencing and landscaping services in Runcorn, Liverpool and surrounding areas, helping homeowners improve their gardens and outdoor spaces with high-quality installations.
